E-N-E-R-G-Y...

A couple of weekends ago, our youngest daughter who lives in Fort Worth, loaded up her toddler and 5 week old baby and headed south to San Antonio to visit for the weekend. We were so excited and could hardly wait for them to arrive. It would be my first time to see my newest grandson.  It was a 5 hour journey and she did very good at managing the two. Between stopping to feed the baby and changing DVD's, things went really smooth.  When they arrived we hugged, kissed and cooed.  Then I heard this little voice say, "Poppy let's ride on the golf cart."  Now we have owned that golf cart for almost a year and we put more miles on it in two days than since it was first purchased.  Occassionaly we had to stop for the golf cart and me to recharge and so I could hold the little one. But all the while he was faithful to sit on the cart and guard it while it was getting recharged.  Then off we'd go again.  I am in good health. I try to walk on a regular basis, but the E-N-E-R-G-Y of that boy just about did me in.  I know why young people have children.  It's called  E-N-E-R-G-Y... God bless them everyone - everywhere!
