Finally the time has come.

For twenty years now Preacher's Wife and I have been talking about taking an Alaskian Cruise. The time has finally arrived. The prices were so right that we thought there may never be a better time. Also, I am aware people like us often go through life saying, "one of these days we ought to go or do...." "or when the kids leave home we should...". Well, a couple of months ago we did it. We booked our cruise. Tomorrow we leave for Vancouver and will enjoy a nice night out on the town and leave Wednesday on a northbound cruise to Anchorage. The itinerary shows we stop in Ketchikan, Juneau, Skagway, Sitka and end up in Anchorage. Having been fortunate to travel the world, we will now get to see some of the sites we have dreamed and talked so much about. Of all the people who have spoken to us about their experience on an Alaskian Cruise we have never met someone who was disappointed. So wish us well. Hopefully, I will post pictures depending of course on the internet connection. I can't imagine they will not have internet after reading about everything else that is on the ship.

God Speed! You will never regret taking this trip - it is so beautiful and must be seen in person. It is still the highlight of our travels. Shirley
